Paolo Frasca

Paolo Frasca received the Ph.D. degree from Politecnico di Torino, Italy, in 2009. Since 2010, he is with the Department of Mathematical Sciences (DISMA) of the same institute as a research fellow. He has held research and visiting positions at the IAC-CNR, Rome, and at the University of California, Santa Barbara, USA. His research interests include mathematical control theory and applications of probability and graph theory to distributed and networked systems. Specific interests are control with communication constraints, hybrid systems, and modeling and control of robotic, sensor, and social networks. On these topics, Dr. Frasca has (co)authored more than thirty journal and conference proceedings papers, and has given several invited talks at international institutions, both in Europe and overseas, including University of Groningen, Lund LTH, Université catholique de Louvain, UC San Diego, UC Los Angeles.
