Federico Della Croce di Dojola

Federico Della Croce was born in Torino, Italy, in 1962. He graduated in Electronic Engineering in 1988 and holds a MS in Computer Science and Automation (1990) and a PhD in Operations Research (1993) from "Politecnico di Torino". He has has been Assistant Professor from 1995 to 1998, Associate Professor from 1998 to 2010, and Full Professor since 2011 of Operations Research at "Politecnico di Torino". He is member of the Italian OR Society (AIRO) since 1990. His main research interests concern exact and heuristic algorithms for general combinatorial optimization problems, with emphasis on Scheduling and Timetabling problems. He has published more than 50 papers on ISI international journals such as Computers and Operations Research, Discrete Applied Mathematics, European Journal of Operational Research, INFORMS Journal on Computing, Journal of Heuristics, Journal of Scheduling, Operations Research Letters, Theoretical Computer Science and others plus three textbooks and a divulgative book.
